Decision Support Systems
Decision Support Systems (DSS) faces the daily challenge of providing relevant, accurate, and useful management information to a variety of internal and external clients, including top-level USF management, regional campus Deans, college Deans, and department chairs. DSS operates as a unit in the Office of Decision Support within the Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President.
At a time when more people demand more data more quickly, DSS continues to lead the effort implementing a coherent reporting strategy for USF.
Decision Support Systems is directed to:
- Develop optimal and comprehensive data structures;
- Respond to the ever growing needs of customers, internal and external, for data accuracy and availability;
- Distribute our reporting products in a timely manner;
- Build relationships with Information Technologies and our management file and data custodians;
- Provide data to support accountability measures consistent with the USF strategic plan.
