The Student Information Systems Department oversees the maintenance and enhancement of the University of South Florida's student information systems. These systems include all modules of the SunGard Higher Education Banner system known as OASIS, Banner Document Management Suite, and DegreeWorks.

All campuses within the USF System use these applications. The SIS Department is administered through the Office of the Provost but maintains a consultative reporting relationship with the Vice President for Information Technology.
