Space Scheduling Process

The Central Space Office manages over 148 classrooms that are used for scheduling courses as well as other academic events such as test reviews, help sessions, and exams.  These rooms are also used to schedule outside activities that are university related.

The Space Request Form is used by the department or college scheduler to request academic space either for an individual course or for a special event.  When all necessary information is completed, the form is forwarded to the Central Space Office for approval.  All requests are reviewed and acknowledged within four (4) working days of receipt of request.  Please forward all requests to CentralSpaceOffice@acad.usf.edu. To reach the Central Space Office with a request, call 813-974-8416.

In conjunction with the Central Space Office, the Registrar’s Office prepares a Class Scheduling Timetable to inform the area schedulers of upcoming deadlines.  The academic year is outlined on the timetable for ease of curriculum planning and to inform each area of important due dates.
