Legislative Budget Requests, 2008-09

Development of USF's LBR proposals

On April 12, 2007, President Judy Genshaft requested each university vice president to review and respond to guidelines for Legislative Budget Requests for 2008-09 as distributed by Chancellor Mark Rosenburg, Florida Board of Govenors, on April 11, 2007.

LBR proposals should be directed to Dr. Dan Gardner, Planning & Analysis, Office of Decision Support before 3 pm, April 19, 2007.

President Genshaft requested that LBR proposals conform to the BOG/SUS Guidelines and support the implementation of USF Strategic Plan, 2007-2012.

LBR units

LBR proposals are requested from these USF system units. Total amounts by unit should not exceed the amount allocated. (See USF allocation spreadsheet)

• USF Health
• USF Lakeland
• USF Sarasota/Manatee
• USF St. Petersburg

USF LBR approval process and schedule

LBR proposals will be submitted by system units on or before April 19, 2007.

LBRs will be reviewed by the President prior to recommendation to the USF Board of Trustees workgroups on May 3, 2007. Subsequent to BOT approval on May 31, 2007, USF's LBRs will be submitted to the State University System of Florida on or before June 27, 2007.
